Booking is simple
Here's how your dog's first stay works.
Send the booking form
Complete our online booking form, making sure all the information is accurate and up to date.
We'll give you a call
We'll check availability and call you to discuss your booking. If your dates are free, a 50% non-refundable deposit is taken.
An overnight trial
Check in between 15:00 and 18:00 and collect the next morning, between 08:00 and 10:00. We get to know your dog's behaviour, health and compatibility.
Their main stay
If your dog settles in well, the remaining balance is paid on the check-in day for the main stay.
Peace of mind while you're away
- Regular pup-dates, with photos and videos.
- On walks, no VIP is let off the lead unless in a designated secure area.
- The property is secure: all outside access is only through two locked gates.
- A road-facing security camera monitors the property.
- Mobile access alerts are installed on all external doors.

Now a 5-Star licensed home boarding provider, achieving the higher standards, we pride ourselves on offering a safe, loving and personalised experience where every guest is treated as one of our own.
Our resident VIPs, Miniature Dachshunds Daphne and Dolly, are at the heart of our home. With over a decade of experience owning Dachshunds, we understand the importance of tailored care, patience and attention to each dog's individual needs. Having supported Dolly through IVDD and spinal surgery, we also have first-hand experience of the additional care, patience and understanding that dogs with mobility challenges may require.

What your vaccination card needs to show
Your photo or PDF must clearly show your dog's up-to-date vaccinations for:
- DHP (Distemper, Hepatitis (canine adenovirus) and Parvovirus)
- Leptospirosis (L4)
Kennel cough is not required.

Help us give your VIP a comfortable, stress-free stay.
Food
Enough food for the whole stay, with detailed feeding instructions.
Medication
Any medication your dog needs, with clear instructions.
Bedding
A familiar blanket or bed to help them feel at home.
Toys
A few favourite toys to keep them entertained.
Booking information
We require all new guests to complete an overnight trial stay to make sure they're comfortable and a good fit for our home. It costs £25, including the overnight stay. If your dog isn't suitable for home boarding after the trial, a full refund for the main booking is given.
£35 per day, charged on both the check-in and check-out days, whatever time you collect. Early check-outs are non-refundable.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken when you book. The remaining balance is paid on the check-in day.
Please let us know at least 7 days before the check-in date to avoid extra charges. Cancellations less than 7 days before the start date are charged the full booking fee, as we can't fill the place without a trial stay first. Changes to dates are subject to availability and may have a small admin fee.
We specialise in small and medium breeds, and our home is set up with them in mind. That said, we are always happy to consider larger breeds. It depends on your dog's behaviour, their energy level, and how well they get on with smaller or older dogs. Give us a call and tell us about your dog: the trial stay is the best way for everyone to find out whether we are a good fit.
